General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Outpatient Dental Care

Effective from 6 February 2026

applicable to the contract for the provision of dental services concluded between Dubai Dental Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (registered office: 1201 Budapest, Erkel Ferenc utca 5. 1.; place of business: 1028 Budapest, Hidegkúti út 237.; company registration number: 01-09-397064; tax number: 27764495-2-43; represented by Márta Bognár, managing director) as Healthcare Provider (hereinafter: Healthcare Provider) and the natural person ordering outpatient dental care as Client (Patient); the Healthcare Provider and the Client are hereinafter jointly referred to as the Parties (hereinafter: the Contract).

The Client is the person using the service, except where the service is used by a minor or by a person with partially or fully limited legal capacity, in which case the legal representative of the treated person also qualifies as the Client.

Under the conditions set out in these General Terms and Conditions, the Client uses paid (private) outpatient dental care from the Healthcare Provider. The GTC applies to the conclusion and performance of all contracts for the provision of dental services, and to the enforcement of claims arising from individual special contracts.

These GTC are governed by Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (Ptk.); pursuant to Sections 6:77–6:81 of the Civil Code they qualify as general terms and conditions and are binding in the legal relationship of the Parties. The general terms and conditions become part of the contract, as the Healthcare Provider enabled the Client to become acquainted with their content before the conclusion of the contract on the home page of https://www.zeeddentclinicbudapest.hu/.

By booking an appointment or by using the healthcare service, the Client acknowledges the provisions of the GTC as binding upon him/her and accepts them. The Client acknowledges the conclusion of the Contract by signing the Treatment Plan and the quotation. The Client further declares that he/she has become acquainted with, read and understood the GTC and accepts its provisions as binding upon him/her. By using the healthcare service, the Parties establish a mandate relationship for the provision of dental services in return for a fee.

In the absence of a written agreement of the Parties to the contrary, these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) shall apply.

  1. Conditions of the healthcare service:

In compliance with the legal and professional regulations governing its activities, the Healthcare Provider performs the services undertaken under the Contract at pre-arranged times, using dental specialists, dental hygienists and specialist assistants with appropriate expertise and qualifications.

In accordance with the laws in force, professional protocols and the conditions of these GTC, the Healthcare Provider provides the following dental services (hereinafter: Dental Service) to the Client:

  • Conservative dental procedures,

  • Tooth-preserving treatments,

  • Fabrication of dental prostheses,

  • Dental implants,

  • Aesthetic procedures,

  • Periodontal procedures,

  • Dental hygiene

The Healthcare Provider declares that it has the material and personnel conditions required to perform the Dental Services, general professional liability insurance for its healthcare activities, and the appropriate official licences.

Place of the Dental Service: 1028 Budapest, Hidegkúti út 237.

Opening hours of the clinic: every second week Friday 12:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–20:00, Sunday 11:00–15:00.

There is no on-call service outside opening hours.

The Parties are obliged to cooperate during the use of the Dental Service. As part of this obligation to cooperate, the Client informs the Healthcare Provider or the treating physician of all circumstances and facts (in particular all previous illnesses, medical treatments, medicines or medicinal products taken, and health risk factors) that are necessary for establishing the diagnosis, preparing an appropriate treatment plan and performing the procedures. The Client's obligation to inform also covers, in connection with his/her own illness, every fact and circumstance (in particular infectious diseases, illnesses precluding the practice of an occupation, or conditions) that may endanger the life or physical integrity of others. If the Client fails to comply, or complies only partially, with the above obligation to inform, the Healthcare Provider bears no professional or financial liability for the consequences. The Healthcare Provider may refuse to provide the Dental Service if the Client refuses to provide information or shows obvious signs of an infectious or febrile illness. The Client acknowledges that the data and information on his/her state of health provided in the medical history form signed by him/her are necessary for choosing the content of the dental care and medical treatments. The Client declares that the data provided are complete and that he/she is obliged to inform the Healthcare Provider of any changes occurring during the treatment period.

The Parties determine the content of the outpatient dental service(s) chosen by the Client, and the ordering of the dental work and materials required for it, in accordance with these GTC and the individual oral or written offer, treatment plan or individual contract. In the event of any discrepancy between the GTC and the individual contract, the individual contract shall prevail.

Unless the treatment plan or individual contract provides otherwise, the Parties conclude the contract for a fixed term until the completion of the treatment, during which the ordering and performance of individual treatments, materials and intermediated services take place under these contractual terms.

  1. Procedure for using the Dental Service:

In compliance with the legal and professional regulations governing its activities, the Healthcare Provider provides the Dental Service using dental specialists, specialist assistants and personal contributors with appropriate expertise and qualifications, and provides the dental technical and other materials as well as the premises necessary for providing the Dental Service. The Parties agree that the Healthcare Provider also uses personal contributors to perform the Dental Service, for whose intermediated activities it is liable as if it had performed the activities entrusted to its subcontractors itself. The Healthcare Provider may also sell these intermediated services to the Client in unchanged form and content, and, at its own discretion, is entitled to resell them to the Client at an unchanged price or for a supplemented fee.

Using the dental service requires prior registration, which the Client may make in the following ways:

  • In person: at 1028 Budapest, Hidegkúti út 237.;

  • Via the telephone customer service at +36 30 660 2791;

  • By e-mail at zeedentclinicbudapest@gmail.com, or by completing the contact form on the Healthcare Provider's website: https://zeeddentclinicbudapest.hu/kapcsolat

When using the healthcare service, the Client must appear in a physical and mental condition suitable for it; otherwise, the Healthcare Provider is entitled to refuse to provide the Dental Service.

Treatments at the clinic are carried out by prior appointment. The Client may request an appointment via the clinic's publicly available contact details and the booking system, and will receive an appointment reminder e-mail or SMS from the Healthcare Provider in advance at the contact details provided by the Client.

The Healthcare Provider sends the Client a confirmation of the booking. The booking confirmation contains a link that redirects the Client to the payment system for the consultation. At the time of booking, the Client is obliged to pay the consultation fee in advance, before using the healthcare service. The purpose of advance payment is to ensure that booked appointments are reserved exclusively for genuine Clients who wish to use the healthcare service, and that the doctors can devote appropriate quality time to every patient.

Once the consultation fee has been paid, the booked appointment is confirmed. By booking, the Client acknowledges that a prepaid and confirmed booking may be changed free of charge no later than 48 hours before the booked appointment. If only a consultation takes place at the booked appointment, the Client is not obliged to make any further payment after the consultation; however, in the case of treatment, the prepaid amount is deducted from the total, and the Client must pay the remaining amount on site after the treatment. The Client acknowledges that the appointment becomes final upon receipt of the payment, of which he/she also receives confirmation from the Healthcare Provider.

The Client acknowledges that the Healthcare Provider may refuse treatment in the absence of a pre-arranged treatment appointment.

The Healthcare Provider makes every effort to start the treatment agreed in advance with the Client at the agreed time; however, in view of unexpected complications that may arise during a dental procedure, it reserves the right to extend the time spent on the preceding treatment in the interest of the patient currently being treated. In view of such cases, the Client acknowledges that he/she is obliged to grant the Healthcare Provider a grace period of up to 30 minutes relative to the pre-arranged time. If the Healthcare Provider does not start the treatment by the end of the grace period, the Client may request the cancellation of the treatment or its postponement to another time.

If the Client is more than 10 minutes late for the pre-arranged appointment, the Healthcare Provider is entitled to refuse treatment at that time and to arrange a new appointment with the Client.

At the first consultation, an X-ray may be necessary to assess the condition of the teeth and mouth; the Client obtains this from another provider and sends it electronically to the Healthcare Provider.

In the event of incomplete or late provision of data by the Client, the Healthcare Provider becomes entitled, at its option, to withdraw from the contract or to modify the Treatment Plan. If the Client refuses to complete the dental registration form and medical history, or completes it incompletely or with obviously false data, the Healthcare Provider will refuse treatment.

The Client is obliged to report at the Healthcare Provider's reception at least 5 minutes before the pre-arranged appointment that he/she has arrived to use the service. The Healthcare Provider provides the requested dental service after registration, completion of the medical history form (only at the first visit and at every visit more than one year after the previous one) and data recording. The Healthcare Provider performs its dental activities on the basis of a treatment plan (hereinafter: Treatment Plan) and a quotation. The Treatment Plan is based on the Healthcare Provider's proposal. If the treatment is started by the Healthcare Provider, this constitutes the Client's approval of the Treatment Plan. The Healthcare Provider is entitled to deviate from the Treatment Plan independently, but in the case of major deviations it is obliged to consult the Client in advance. The written offer, treatment plan or individual contract is based on the Healthcare Provider's proposal, from which the Healthcare Provider is entitled to deviate unilaterally, but in the case of major professional deviations it is obliged to consult the Client in advance.

The Client's instructions that deviate from the contract are effective only if confirmed by the Healthcare Provider in writing.

The Healthcare Provider is entitled to refuse treatment at any time without giving reasons and without any obligation to pay compensation, including but not limited to cases of insufficient cooperation by the Client, a health or mental condition of the Client which, in the opinion of the Healthcare Provider, affects the treatment, a breach of these GTC (in particular the House Rules), and if the Client fails to meet his/her payment obligations. In these cases, the Client may not assert any claim for damages against the Healthcare Provider.

The Healthcare Provider is entitled to change the pre-arranged appointment or the person of the treating physician, but is obliged to inform the Client of this within a reasonable time.

The Healthcare Provider may change any professional element of the service at any time without notifying the Client, if necessary, provided that it does not materially affect the nature or quality of the service.

  1. Payment, consideration for the service:

The private healthcare service provided by the Healthcare Provider is not financed by social security (OEP); the Client may use it in return for payment of a fee.

The Healthcare Provider informs the Client of the fees for its services on the website https://zeeddentclinicbudapest.hu/araink and through the price list displayed in the clinic's waiting room. The Healthcare Provider is entitled to modify the individual offer unilaterally.

The Healthcare Provider informs the Client orally or in writing of the fees for the treatments to be performed, which are invoiced during the individual treatments either in advance or immediately after the treatment.

The Client acknowledges and undertakes that if, beyond the pre-agreed services, the treating physician recommends additional services and the Client uses them, the Client is obliged to pay for these additional services as well.

Before the recommended additional services are performed, the Client may request information on their fees from the treating physician or from the Healthcare Provider's customer service.

The Healthcare Provider is entitled to modify its list prices unilaterally at any time, simultaneously with their publication. The Client acknowledges that in the event of non-payment, the Healthcare Provider will use all legal means available to it to enforce its claim for fees. To this end, it is entitled to transfer the Client's personal data to its legal representative to the extent necessary to enforce its rights.

The Client may pay the fee for the dental service in the following ways by the deadline indicated on the invoice issued by the Healthcare Provider:

  • Via the payment link in the booking confirmation message, exclusively before using the healthcare service,

  • In cash (on site, after the treatment, upon receipt of the invoice, based on treatment that becomes necessary on site),

  • By bank transfer in the case of an individual agreement (by the payment deadline indicated on the invoice).

  • By bank card

The Client pays for the treatments performed on each occasion, directly at the time of the treatment, or by advance transfer. In the case of dental prostheses and treatments involving high material costs, which are handed over at a later date, the Healthcare Provider requests an advance payment from the Client of at least 50%. The remaining portion is due upon completion of the given treatment phase.

The offer made by the Healthcare Provider is valid until the deadline stated in the offer (binding offer period), after which the Healthcare Provider is entitled to change the offer. Notwithstanding this, the estimated fees may change until the completion of the treatment due to professional reasons arising during the treatment, e.g. unforeseeable procedures or extension of the treatment.

By paying for the service, the Client accepts the Healthcare Provider's performance.

In the event of late payment, the Healthcare Provider is entitled to default interest under the Civil Code (Act V of 2013), and the Client is obliged to pay default interest. The rate of default interest is the rate specified in the Civil Code in force at any given time.

If the patient cancels the appointment and does not request a new one, or fails to appear without cancellation, the amount already paid qualifies as compensation and is not refunded to the Client.

Rights and obligations

During the treatments, the Client may – at his/her own responsibility – request at any time the interruption of the treatment (to be continued at a later date) or the termination (discontinuation) of the treatment. In this case, the Client must pay for the work performed and the chair time, as well as for the dental work and materials that the Healthcare Provider ordered individually for him/her.

The Client may cancel or change the treatment free of charge no later than 48 hours before the booked appointment, in writing (by e-mail or text message) or orally (by telephone). If the Client fulfils the above obligation late or not at all, the Client is not entitled to a refund of the prepaid consultation fee; furthermore, the Healthcare Provider is entitled to invoice, as compensation, the individually ordered items plus a cancellation fee of HUF 50,000 per 30 minutes for each half hour of the booked appointment. By booking the appointment, the Client expressly consents to the invoicing of this fee and to the sending of the electronic invoice by e-mail.

If the Client fails to appear at the pre-arranged appointment on two occasions, or has failed to pay the above fee on one occasion, the Healthcare Provider is entitled, in addition to the above, to refuse further bookings at all of its clinics.

The Client may not exercise the right of withdrawal in respect of services already performed.

The Client is obliged to comply with epidemiological regulations; otherwise, he/she must leave the clinic premises immediately.

  1. Liability

Under the liability insurance governing its activities, the Healthcare Provider is liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the Healthcare Provider and its staff, which is expressly and directly related to the provision of the Dental Service or to the conduct of the Healthcare Provider and its staff.

Beyond the well-known risks of surgical or other procedures, changes causing specific complaints may also arise as a result of the procedure requested by the Client, for which the Healthcare Provider is not liable.

The Client acknowledges that, depending on the biological responsiveness of the body and on unforeseeable risks, the expected result and the final healing time may differ from the average, and the Client may not assert any claim for damages on account of such a difference. The Client receives detailed information about the possible risks in the Treatment Plan and, based on this clause, about the fact that individually unforeseeable risks may arise. By signing the Treatment Plan, the Client expressly declares that he/she has acknowledged the possible occurrence of risks arising from such differences.

Furthermore, since the assessment of the result of the Dental Service may vary greatly from person to person, the Healthcare Provider assumes no financial or other liability in the case of complaints of an aesthetic nature. The Client is obliged to cooperate during the provision of the Dental Service and thus expressly undertakes to give his/her opinion before aesthetic treatments begin.

The Healthcare Provider assumes no liability for complications or other illnesses resulting from the Client's breach of his/her obligations set out in these GTC or in separate information and agreements, or from failure to follow the instructions, recommendations or advice given by the physician or any other person acting on behalf of the Healthcare Provider.

  1. Warranty (implied warranty under the Civil Code)

The warranty covers all deficiencies that may naturally occur during the adaptation process or normal use of dental veneers.

The warranty covers the following:

  • Veneer detachment: if one of the veneers becomes detached under normal conditions of use, the Healthcare Provider will reattach it at no additional cost.

  • Discomfort or excessive sensitivity: if the Client experiences pain, discomfort or other problems due to the prosthesis, the Healthcare Provider will carry out an assessment and make the necessary corrections.

  • Manufacturing defects: problems with adhesion, colour or surface finish arising from possible technical imperfections will be corrected within the warranty.

  • Resolution of problems that arise during the warranty period, provided the Client attends the prescribed check-ups.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors or trauma, such as:

  • Accidents and impacts: veneers broken or cracked as a result of an impact (e.g. during sports activities such as the gym or skiing, or in a car accident) are not covered by the warranty.

  • Problems resulting from night-time damage, e.g. teeth grinding or improper use: teeth grinding, chewing hard objects (e.g. nails, pens, ice) or opening packages with the teeth can damage the veneers; therefore, these situations are not covered by the warranty.

  • Inadequate oral hygiene – neglecting tooth brushing, incorrect use of dental floss or avoiding regular check-ups may lead to complications not covered by the warranty.

  • Natural atrophy of the teeth, gums and jawbone and its consequences.

  • Changes in the temporomandibular joint or untreated dysfunction thereof.

  • Illnesses that adversely affect the dental condition: diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, cystic conditions.

  • Mechanical injuries caused by impact, or by biting or tearing on hard objects.

  • Damage caused by smoking or drugs.

  • Temporarily cemented fixed restorations – bridges and crowns – that are damaged or broken by falling out.

  • Temporary fillings, temporary restorations or temporary dentures.

  • Root canal treatment or other problems not foreseeable from the X-ray, which may require other treatments, are not covered by the warranty.

  • Procedures performed by another dentist, dental technician or any third party.

  • The warranty does not cover the reimbursement of travel and other incidental costs that may arise during the treatments; these are borne by the patient.

Conditions for claiming the warranty:

  • The Client attends a check-up at the Healthcare Provider's clinic at least every six months,

  • The Client attends the prescribed oral hygiene treatment (usually every 4 or 6 months), but at least twice a year,

  • Proper dental and oral care,

  • Use as intended,

  • Following the treating physician's recommendations,

  • Use of a night bite splint, if recommended,

  • If necessary, the Client attends the free correction of the height of the prostheses,

  • All invoices have been settled by the Client,

  • No treatment has been performed on the teeth at another clinic,

The warranty expires, which the Client expressly accepts, if:

- The warranty claim is not reported to the provider by e-mail within 3 working days of detection,

- The Client did not attend the prescribed check-ups

  1. Complaints handling:

Exercising the right to complain does not affect the Patient's right, as defined in separate legislation, to turn – for the purpose of investigating the complaint – to the body employing patients' rights, care recipients' rights and children's rights representatives, and to other bodies.

Pursuant to Section 17/A (6) of Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection (Fgy. tv.), we always give reasons for our position rejecting a complaint, within 30 days of receipt of the complaint. Pursuant to Section 29 of Act CLIV of 1997 on Healthcare (hereinafter: Eütv.) and our Complaints Handling Policy, the complaint is investigated within 30 working days of receipt of the complaint in writing (by e-mail or post).

The provider has not made a general declaration of submission under Section 36/C (1) of the Consumer Protection Act.

The Healthcare Provider aims to perform all its services in appropriate quality, to the full satisfaction of the Client. If the Client nevertheless has a complaint, he/she is obliged to communicate the quality objection to the Healthcare Provider immediately after detection at zeedentclinicbudapest@gmail.com.

In order to investigate the objection, the Client is obliged to attend a check-up examination, to make the disputed dental work available to the Healthcare Provider, and to provide all information and data related to the complaint. The Parties draw up minutes of the examination.

If the Client's quality objection is well-founded, the Healthcare Provider is obliged, within 5 working days of examining the disputed work, to declare whether it can satisfy the warranty claim lawfully asserted by the Client within a further 15 working days, or whether the Healthcare Provider undertakes to cover the cost of treatment at another healthcare provider, based on prior agreement by e-mail.

If the Healthcare Provider is released from its warranty obligation, or if the objection cannot be investigated due to the loss of the disputed dental work or other reasons (e.g. late submission of the complaint), the Healthcare Provider does not accept the complaint.

The Client may file a complaint with the consumer protection authority pursuant to Section 45/A (1)–(3) of the Consumer Protection Act and Government Decree 387/2016 (XII. 2.) on the designation of the consumer protection authority. The general consumer protection authority is the Budapest and county government office; contact details: https://kormanyhivatalok.hu/ugyek

The conciliation board is competent to settle consumer disputes out of court. Its task is to attempt to bring about a settlement between the parties in order to resolve the consumer dispute and, if this is unsuccessful, to decide the case in order to ensure the simple, fast, efficient and cost-effective enforcement of consumer rights. At the request of the consumer or the provider, the conciliation board gives advice on the rights of the consumer and the obligations incumbent upon the consumer.

The Healthcare Provider is obliged to cooperate in the conciliation board procedure. Within this framework, it is obliged to send its response to the conciliation board and to ensure the participation at the hearing of a person authorised to reach a settlement.

  1. House rules:

On the premises of the Healthcare Provider's clinics, the Client and his/her companion must behave in a way that disturbs neither other Clients nor the surgery.

On the entire premises of the Healthcare Provider's clinics, entry by persons under the influence of any intoxicating substance (including but not limited to alcohol, medication, narcotics), the consumption of such substances, and smoking (IQOS, e-cigarettes, etc.) are prohibited.

The Client and his/her companion must take care to keep the clinic clean, including in the waiting rooms and restrooms.

The Client and his/her companion are obliged to compensate for any damage caused to the Healthcare Provider's property, in particular damage caused by breakage or vandalism.

The Client and his/her companion acknowledge that they must look after their own valuables in the Healthcare Provider's clinics; the Healthcare Provider cannot assume liability for them.

Animals may not be brought onto the premises of the Healthcare Provider's clinics (exception: guide dogs).

The Healthcare Provider may also refuse to treat the Client if

  • the Client seriously breaches his/her obligation to cooperate,

  • the Client or his/her companion behaves offensively or threateningly towards it,

  • the patient's behaviour endangers the life or physical integrity of the treating physician.

Under the Healthcare Act, healthcare workers, in the course of activities related to the provision of healthcare services, as well as other persons employed by the healthcare provider, with regard to their tasks directly related to patient care and patient guidance, qualify as persons performing public duties for the purposes of the Criminal Code.

  1. Data protection, information

In performing the Services, the Healthcare Provider processes and records the personal data provided by the Client in accordance with its data management policy, prepared pursuant to Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information and Act XLVII of 1997 on the Processing and Protection of Health and Related Personal Data.

The Healthcare Provider informs the Client that it processes the Client's personal (special category) data in the course of providing healthcare services, and accordingly qualifies as a data controller. The data processing activities carried out by the Provider are set out in detail in the Provider's privacy notice. The privacy notice is available at www.zeeddentclinicbudapest.hu/adatkezelesi-tajekoztato and at the Healthcare Provider's place of business.

The Healthcare Provider displays the patients' rights information and the contact details of the patients' rights representative at the clinic.

  1. Other provisions:

In matters not regulated in the GTC or in the individual contract concluded between the Parties, Hungarian law shall apply, in particular the Civil Code and the provisions of other legislation on healthcare and healthcare services: Act CLIV of 1997 on Healthcare, Act LXXXIV of 2003 on Certain Aspects of Healthcare Activities, Act XLVII of 1997 on the Processing and Protection of Health and Related Personal Data, Government Decree 96/2003 (VII.15.) on the General Conditions for Providing Healthcare Services and on the Operating Licence Procedure, ESZCSM Decree 60/2003 (X.20.) on the Minimum Professional Requirements for Providing Healthcare Services, the Civil Code, and other healthcare and social security legislation, professional guidelines and the professional protocol rules of the Healthcare Provider in force.

Unless otherwise specified, the intellectual property rights (including copyright) in the software required for using the services, found on or used by the website, and in the content, information and materials displayed on the Website are the property of the Provider.

The Website cannot be used in an emergency; in such a case, the National Ambulance Service must be notified on 112.

These terms and conditions and the procedures relating to our services have been determined on the basis of Hungarian law and shall be handled accordingly. The Parties shall settle their disputes amicably. If negotiations to this end are unsuccessful, the Parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court competent according to the registered office of the Healthcare Provider.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, unenforceable or non-binding, all other provisions shall remain in force. In such a case, the invalid provision shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by applicable law. In this case, the Client must accept a provision similar to the invalid, unenforceable or non-binding provision, provided that it is consistent with the content and objectives set out in the terms and conditions.

The Healthcare Provider is entitled to amend the GTC unilaterally and is obliged to notify the Clients affected by the amendment of the change. By using the service – even if he/she does not use healthcare treatment at the Healthcare Provider – the Client accepts the provisions of these GTC.

These GTC enter into force on 6 February 2026 and remain valid until revoked or amended.
